5th of March 2026 Temporary Futures Trading Restrictions & Position Limits

Following our previous communication regarding the Temporary Futures Trading Restrictions & Position Limits, please note that these measures will remain in place for an additional two weeks, until March 20, 2026.

As a reminder, the following restrictions continue to apply:

1. Restricted Products (All Account Types)
  • Energy: Crude Oil (CL), Natural Gas (NG), E-Mini Natural Gas (QG)
  • Metals: Gold (GC), Silver (SI), Copper (HG), Platinum (PL)


2. Micro Commodity Position Limits (Micro Contracts Only)
  • $50k — Maximum Open Contracts: 2
  • $100k — Maximum Open Contracts: 4
  • $150k — Maximum Open Contracts: 6


Applies to the following Micro Products:
  • Micro Crude Oil (MCL)
  • Micro Gold (MGC)
  • Micro Silver (SIL)
  • Micro Copper (MHG)
  • Micro Natural Gas (MNG)


These measures are temporary and we will continue to monitor market conditions closely.
