What is Futures Trading?

Futures are a type of derivative contract agreement to buy or sell a specific commodity, asset or security at a set future date for a set price. They’re often used by traders to predict where prices are going or to protect against market moves.

To trade futures, you’ll need a special type of brokerage account. Unlike CFD or FOREX trading, futures require you to pay for market data, since the pricing information comes directly from the source in real time.

Futures can be a great way to trade with structure, clear rules, and direct access to market pricing.
