Is Hedging allowed?

Holding both a BUY and a SELL position at the same time is not allowed.

Hedging refers to the practice of maintaining both a BUY and a SELL position on the same financial instrument at once, which effectively cancels out the two positions and eliminates net market exposure.
This rule applies to conflicting positions within a single account, as well as situations where there is a BUY in one account and a SELL in another. Additionally, it includes offsetting positions taken in correlated instruments across different accounts. For instance, if you place a BUY order for one correlated asset in one account and a SELL order for another positively correlated asset in a separate account, this is also classified as hedging and is therefore prohibited.
