How the 6% trailing maximum drawdown works.

 Yes. CFDs Instant has a 6% trailing maximum drawdown based on the highest account balance.
The maximum drawdown trails the highest account balance until it reaches the starting balance. Once it reaches the starting balance, it stops trailing and remains fixed at the starting balance amount.
Example:

  • If your starting balance is $100,000, the initial maximum drawdown level is $94,000.
  • If your account balance increases to $103,000, the maximum drawdown level trails to $97,000 ($103,000 − $6,000).
  • If your account balance increases to $106,000, the maximum drawdown level reaches $100,000.
  • From that point onward, the maximum drawdown level remains fixed at $100,000 and will not trail any higher, even if your account balance continues to increase.
