Is News Trading allowed?

CFDs

*Starting Monday, July 7th, 2025, news trading will be allowed for CFDs accounts, with the exception of the $100,000 and $200,000 accounts.

Specifically, news trading is not permitted on $100,000 and $200,000 CFD accounts during the Challenge or Earning Phase.

The following actions are not allowed within 2 minutes before or after high-impact news releases:

- Opening trades
- Having pending orders that are filled during this restricted time

Note: “Executing a trade” refers to any action that results in opening a position, including via market orders and/or pending orders.

For all other account sizes, you can now trade all CFD products during major news events without interruptions.

This update applies to both existing and new accounts, Challenge and Earning accounts.

Futures Classic

Kindly note that as we want to avoid high-risk trading on our accounts, any trades executed within 2 minutes before or after a high-impact news event, will be considered a breach of our rules.

News Trading is prohibited on Futures Classic Challenge and Earning accounts.

The following actions are not allowed within 2 minutes before or after high-impact news releases:

- Opening trades
- Having pending orders that are filled during this restricted time

Note: “Executing a trade” refers to any action that results in opening a position, including via market orders and/or pending orders.

Futures Prime

News Trading is allowed for the Futures Prime products, both in the Challenge and in the Earning accounts.

We allow news trading on Futures Prime Accounts because our consistency rule is in place to ensure that profits are achieved through sustained performance—not just one-time gains from news events.

However, it's important to be aware of the significant risks involved, such as heightened volatility and potential for large, unpredictable price swings.

You can find our Economic Calendar on our website, where you can filter events by impact level—low, medium, or high. For example, you can choose to view only high-impact news as indicated below.
